Daniel Timofeyev

Daniel started learning piano in 2004 and continues to play to this day. In addition to the piano, he also picked up the realm of percussion in middle school and has worked on both symbiotically through high school and college.

He has been teaching music to many schools throughout the Sacramento Valley including Antelope and Whitney High School. He is currently an adjudicator for a handful of band circuits, including the Northern California Band Association - a partner to Winter Guard International and does adjudication for music festivals and competitions throughout the state. He studied at Berklee School of Music with a focus on composition and had the opportunity to do masterclasses with Danny Elfman, John Powell, and Hanz Zimmer in film scoring.

Currently, aside from teaching music, he also composes music for groups and personally writes commissioned solo works.
